Born in the shed with scented herbs,
with peaking streaks and warmth for colours,
as sun quietly sets then crackling leaves was heard,
amongst the shrubs it ran for cover.

Between the trees came two whispering voices,
which shooed the fear and curling thoughts,
then peace floated in and out goes the noises,
coast is clear and eyes no longer locked.

As the last fiery leaf began its dance,
the trees stood still and silence came to stay,
down comes the sky in chilly crumbs,
and it began to play.
