Traversing back and forth between the material and digital realm, this series of metal prints traces the curious journeys of surplus materials from swatch, to scan, and back to physical form as print once again. Each composition is a delightful snapshot of intricate textures, colours, and shapes offered by disparate materials, creating an ad-hoc canvas of playful connections and serendipitous encounters—akin to opening a drawer from a cabinet of curiosities.

This is further enhanced by the play on layers—beyond a flattened plane, the printed scan is accentuated by moments of light, shadow, clarity, grain, blur and translucency.
