To give the space a more residential feel, contemporary decorative pieces were carefully selected and styled.  This created a sense of warmth for the guests and added a personal touch.

 

LOBBY: Peranakan-inspired motifs are translated into embroidery and laser-cut timber carvings stitched together to form the backdrop for the reception counters.

SHELVING: Modern artwork and accessories with a hint of the old.

 

SPA: The reception desk is celebrated by an iconic sculptural desk with a back-drop formed by a bespoke solid wood beaded screen and a white sheer curtain. Behind which treatment pods are concealed from view for express treatments, breaking down barriers between ‘compartments’. This melts away to a perfect spray-painted rippled elevation corridor, where the lighting was carefully placed to create a soothing journey.
