Overlooking the lush and exclusive view in a two eighteen holes golf course, The Nest is a standalone restaurant offering the most scenic view of the landscape. We wanted the overall design to be aesthetically pleasing with carefully crafted lighting ambient that will not cause distraction to the golfers on the green. This consideration included the durability of the materials used as some golf shoes comes with spikes. 

 

The general color tone is kept to a rich and earthy palette which could be clearly seen on the bold black and white herringbone marble being juxtaposed onto the reclaimed timber floors. 

 

We were also drawn to the light-hearted side of the game after seeing what the client shared from the archives of the golf tournaments. Instead of the traditional memorabilia/wall of fame, pop inspired artwork were printed on timber and integrated with the feature wall.
